I was so excited to participate in David Tutera’s Your Wedding Experience in Fort Lauderdale in May! Being invited to be a part of this event and to have The Budget Savvy Bride listed as a featured blogger next to one of the most notable wedding planners in the industry was such an incredible honor – definitely a career highlight moment!
David Tutera’s Your Wedding Experience Bridal Shows
In case you’re not familiar with the David Tutera Your Wedding Experience show, let me tell you — it’s not your average bridal show, y’all… it’s a one-of-a-kind event! Your Wedding Experience is fun, social and completely interactive. At the show you’ll find information, inspiration, exclusive discounts and special giveaways from over 100 of the best wedding vendors in your area. Each vendor at Your Wedding Experience has been vetted and approved by David Tutera himself.
There are many beautiful booths to wander through and talented vendors to connect with! The atmosphere is super fun, with lots of photobooths and interactive stations all around the show floor. Plus some sparkling sips, cake tastings, and more!
Celebrity Guests
At the Fort Lauderdale show, attendees got to enjoy live demos including tips and trends from David Tutera himself, along with a special appearance by celebrity wedding planner Preston Bailey. I even got to give a short presentation to some brides and grooms at the show. It was really fun sharing my tips and suggestions for ways to save money on a wedding! Here’s some shots of me giving my speech:
DIY Nail Polish Bar presented by TKB Colors, hosted by The Budget Savvy Bride!
Another fun aspect of the show was my interactive booth with TKB Colors! They hosted a super fun DIY Nail Polish Bar that was, quite simply, a hit! I got to spend time in the booth mixing up some of my favorite nail polish colors using TKB Colors and chatting with brides and grooms about all sorts of money saving ideas and tips for the big day. The booth was bumping the entire show and we had a blast customizing colors for all the fab brides who stopped by!
Bridal Fashion Show
One of the highlights of the show is the fashion show! You get to see lots of gorgeous gowns and tuxedos modeled on a runway. Super fun! Plus, that’s when they give out some HUGE prizes! One lucky lady won a free honeymoon and her reaction was truly priceless!
Your Wedding Experience Bridal Show
I’m so thrilled to share that I’ve been invited to come back and join the Fort Lauderdale show in October. I know it’s going to be another amazing show! For the fall show, we’ve partnered with Fire Mountain Gems to bring together another fabulous DIY booth to interact with all the brides to be!
