Dancing with the Stars alum Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert tied the knot in Monterey County, California in late August. The two initially met in 2014 when Hough and his sister Julianna hired Erbert to tour with them. The relationship was kept private for three years before Erbert posted a birthday post for her then-boyfriend, Hough. Hough proposed on June 2, 2022, and the rest is history!
The wedding ceremony was hosted outdoors in Santa Lucia Preserve’s redwood grove, decorated in lush floral arrangements of greens, whites, and pinks. After the ceremony, the guests arrived at a dinner party. The couple provided three signature drinks representing them as a couple. The reception occurred in a century-old barn decorated with sparkling lights and chandeliers, a perfect end to the night.
About the couple’s wedding style
Georgina Chapman of Marchesa designed Erbert’s ceremony dress as an off-the-shoulder, satin a-line silhouetted look. Her second dress of the night was a classic white satin maxi slip dress with spaghetti straps. Hough wore a classy black tuxedo made by Tom Ford.
