Monochromatic Wedding Inspiration featuring David's Bridal
Today I have such a treat for you– an incredible inspiration shoot created by the talented ladies of Aisle Society featuring loads of lovely wedding attire from David’s Bridal. This monochromatic wedding inspiration shoot, shot by the oh-so-talented Cassi Claire, is filled to the brim with beautiful blue hues and is sure to take your breath away!
The shoot took place in an open floor-plan loft space, which is super inspiring for any bride or groom who is working with a raw space for their wedding day. It’s amazing to see what can easily be done with a little creativity and planning. The shoot features several dresses, accessories, and even wedding invitations/stationery that all came from David’s Bridal– talk about a one-stop wedding shop!
The whole shoot was inspired by a Melissa Sweet for David’s Bridal wedding dress in a dreamy ice blue. I don’t know about you, but I’ve fallen in love with the idea of making your entire color scheme your “something blue!” I hope you enjoy this creative and gorgeous monochromatic wedding inspiration.
To create a WOW factor for the ceremony, the team created a massive backdrop featuring a diamond-tile pattern, with a few key pieces of metallic overlay. It was truly a stunning backdrop for the ceremony area, and played so nicely with the ghost chairs for the guest seating.
The ghost chairs were the perfect accent to the glass top reception table design. A custom flower box was created and filled with blooms of varying heights to make a picture-perfect centerpiece. Pattern played a very big role in the tablescape, with different dishware pieces alternating patterns for a touch of whimsy and movement. Each place setting features 4 tiers, switching off between color & design, creating a harmonized feel when viewed as a whole. The finishing touch were the hand-dyed shibori napkins that accented each setting, flowing right off the tabletop.
Another gorgeous focal point of the shoot is the wedding cake! To create visual interest and impact, the team assembled an installation of yarn tassels in several shades of blue that hung from the ceiling at varying heights. This gorgeous tassel chandelier perfectly framed the minimalist wedding cake design, which was displayed on a short white pedestal.
