It’s no secret that weddings aren’t cheap, but for some individuals, money is just a number and they’ll pay anything to make sure that their wedding day is perfect. We’ve always been curious to see how much people are willing to spend on wedding items, so we took to the internet to research about the most expensive wedding days to ever happen.

If you’ve ever wondered what the most expensive wedding bill would come to, well, now we have the answer! We found this infographic that shares some of the most expensive elements from actual weddings… and you’ll be astonished by the final cost!

There is absolutely nothing budget savvy about this. In fact, most of these figures are way over-the-line gross to me. I think it’s a good example to see how frivolous and wasteful some people can be when it comes to the wedding day. Without further ado, feast your eyes on the ridiculousness of the world’s most expensive wedding:

We were super surprised when we came across a recent wedding that was estimated to cost around $1 Billion dollars! There’s not much detail about how much each individual element cost, but with a cake standing at 9 tiers that would make the empire state building look small (that had to be carried by FOUR men), it certainly has to be the world’s most expensive wedding!

Of course, if you have the money to spend and you’re not going into debt to pay for your day, then more power to you. (Most likely if that’s the case for you, you wouldn’t be reading this blog!)

You Don’t Have to Have the Most Expensive Wedding for it to be Beautiful

Just remember, a wedding isn’t all about how much you spend on the dress, cake, venue or rings. The main element of a wedding is completely free, and that’s LOVE!

Happy Planning!
