If you’re looking for tips for saving money on your wedding — one of my absolute favorites is to serve a signature cocktail (or two)! Instead of offering a fully-stocked, top shelf open bar, choosing a signature drink or two will give your guests some tasty libations without a large liquor bill. Signature cocktails can further personalize your big day. Both you and your partner can choose your favorite drinks to be served and shared with all of your guests. It gives them a taste of your own personal tastes! Plus, who doesn’t like trying new cocktails?
As I mentioned previously, I’ve been having a little fun at home mixing up some tasty and simple drink recipes, and I decided it would be fun to share some of them with all of you! I’m sharing these yummy cocktail recipes here on the blog as a series I’ve dubbed “Savvy Signature Sips.” So fun, right?
I decided to whip up a tasty twist on a Martini with a festive Winter spin, so I put together this chilly Winter beverage which I am calling the Partridge in a Pear Tree Martini! The recipe includes Carpano Bianco Vermouth that I recently received to try. The cocktail turned out quite tasty! I think I’ll be enjoying a few of these as I decorate my tree this weekend!
- 3 oz vodka
- 1 oz Carpano Bianco Vermouth
- 2 oz pear purée
- Garnish with pear wedges and a dusting of cinnamon
Combine ingredients in a shaker and shake well. Serve with a pear wedge and a dusting of Cinnamon. This cocktail is so delightfully Wintery and delicious!
