Pop Up Wedding Styled Shoot

San Francisco, CA – Ida Blooms Studio

What was the inspiration for this shoot?

This styled shoot was inspired by the idea of making a wedding as easy as possible for the couple. Pop-up weddings are meant to be totally stress-free. It’s more than a courthouse elopement but less hectic than a full-on wedding day extravaganza.

A flower studio was the perfect venue for this concept as it already has charm and beautiful decor.

As a florist, Ida Blooms focuses on helping brides make their own wedding flowers. She has flower packages that include a party in the studio to make your own wedding flowers!

The arch was made of all greenery to show that you don’t have to use flowers only to have a gorgeous wedding.

We decided to forgo a traditional wedding cake and go more on-theme with fun and laidback dessert of donuts and macarons.

If a big wedding full of planning every last detail isn’t your thing, but you also don’t want to just go to the courthouse, then a pop-up wedding might be for you.

How does a pop-up wedding differ from an elopement?

It’s a bit less custom as the vendors and theme are already selected for you. While certain elements are customizable, for the most part, you are paying for a package that is designed with simplicity in mind.

Lots of couples who get married during a pop-up wedding find a great place to continue the party afterward, like a favorite restaurant or bar.

To be clear, at a pop-up wedding, you are not getting married with other people. You have your own time-slot and private space. You are however, using the same venue and vendors as the other couples. This makes it more affordable for everyone who books.
