If I’m being honest, I’d say I’m a natural worrier. I’d like to think I’m not alone in this as a woman. Surely I’m not the only one who obsesses over planning ahead and being prepared for every “what if” in life. That’s why I’m a saver, not a spender, I think!

As brides, you’re spending the better part of a year (if not more) worrying over and planning for this very momentous day: your wedding! You do all sorts of things to ensure your big day goes off without a hitch, right? You’ve thought of every detail, done your due diligence and planned for keeping your guests’ experiences and comfort in mind… but what about your own comfort? What about your own peace of mind?

Being prepared for your period on your wedding day and every day

Let’s get real for a second, y’all. As women, we have to worry about a few more things than the guys do, especially in the personal hygiene and care department. Yep, I’m talking about your period… and the myriad of other womanly gifts we may experience “down there.” Am I alone in thinking that the female body can feel like a total mystery? Even after living in our bodies for 20+ years, haven’t we all been caught off guard by something uncomfortable and awkward in our undies?

Whether you’re the bride or a bridesmaid, getting your period during a wedding would be THE WORST. And unfortunately, that’s not the only unfortunate underwear scenario we have to worry about. So not a fun thing to talk (or think) about, but you know what? I want you to be prepared in case of those “what ifs” on your big day!

Wedding planning can be stressful, and stress can take a toll on your cycle and your body. If you have the right protection on hand you’ll be in the clear, you won’t be caught off guard, and you’ll be prepared in case of one of life’s most inconvenient surprises.

Avoid unexpected surprises

One of my good friends recently confessed to me that she was completely surprised to discover she started her period on her wedding day– a full week ahead of schedule! She was in the middle of getting her makeup done when she felt that all-too-familiar and uncomfortable feeling between her legs. She was completely caught off guard but thankfully one of her faithful bridesmaids had the goods to come to her rescue. Imagine if it had happened in the middle of her ceremony or during her first dance with her new hubby? Being prepared with Carefree® liners, which are great for everyday wear, would’ve ensured she wouldn’t have had to sweat over it.

Carefree - Being Prepared for Life's Surprises

Carefree® liners are thin, lightweight, and come in a variety of styles, (including thongs!) to protect you and your undies from any surprises! Wear them with confidence and give yourself the peace of mind that you’re protected no matter what may arise. They are definitely something you should consider adding to your bridal emergency kit!
