How did you meet?

We met at a party in high school kept in touch met again in 2013 when we were 21 and we’ve been inseparable since.

What is your proposal story?

CJ proposed to me right before our 5 year anniversary in Paris in front of the Eiffel tower. It was magical.

Tell us about your wedding vision.

Non-traditional contemporary elegance. Since we were supposed to get married in Jamaica, we wanted to keep the ceremony light and non-traditional. For the ceremony, we kept it more of a city chic vibe.

Tell us about your attire choices.

I had Jimmy Choo bridal shoes with a beaded long-sleeve dress. The dress was only $200 from ASOS! CJ wore a grey suit with Gucci loafers.

One of my favorite details was the black leather “just married” jacket I wore after the ceremony! I love those pictures!

What were your favorite parts of the day?

I’m so happy we chose to do a first look, it brings tears to my eyes thinking back to that special moment – it was everything. It was such an amazing moment. I’m happy it’ll forever be memorialized with the beautiful photos.

Tell us about your wedding flowers.

We went with very small white rose boutonnières adorned with silver dollars and matching bouquets for the bridesmaids.

Do you have any advice for couples planning their weddings now?

Man plans, God laughs. I planned this wedding so many times I have lost count.
