What creative or personal aspects did you include in your wedding?
We included my grandfather’s bible, and my bouquet included vintage broaches.
What was the biggest thing you did to save money?
I found my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses on clearance at Azazie. My wedding gown only cost $160, and the bridesmaids dresses were $13 each. I ordered the swatches and found the colors I wanted, and then let each bridesmaid choose their own dress!
What’s the best advice you have for planning your wedding now that you’re on the other side?
Chapel in the Hallow was by far the best venue! The photography from Chastidyi with Star Noir was phenomenal.
The venue is a one stop venue. I have people rave about my wedding pictures and venue, and they are floored when I tell them what was spent. It was gorgeous and a dream come true.
What was your biggest splurge?
Our biggest splurge was my Jimmy Choo shoes. These were a gift from my sister, so they’re not included in the wedding budget! She’s the best.
The most expensive thing about the wedding was the venue and photography. The photography alone and talent of Chastidyi is worth the money we spent!
What was your favorite detail?
Our favorite detail was the chapel. It’s simplistic and so beautiful in the natural setting. It feels so intimate and surreal, and like a mini fairytale.
What is the most memorable moment of your day?
The jokes were the most memorable moments of the day! Never have I ever been so happy, and the pictures show our pure excitement and joy. It was magical and a day we will always cherish.
