What creative or personal aspects did you include in your wedding?

A creative asset we included in our wedding was creating a powerpoint presentation of our general aesthetic, color palette, and vibe for wedding venue!

What was the biggest thing you did to save money?

The biggest thing we did to save money was hiring an all-inclusive wedding company. This streamlined communications to vendors.

Wedgewood also included a wedding planner that we reviewed our presentation with. They also included a day-of coordinator and banquet captain for the remainder of the reception.

What’s the best advice you have for planning your wedding now that you’re on the other side?

Have a general idea of your overall aesthetic, theme, and vibe so that even if smaller details don’t go to plan, your general “image” of how you want your wedding to feel will still come across. Set a color palette for your venue and decor, and allow for wiggle room even if the exact hues and tones don’t completely match.

At the end of the day, the wedding is to celebrate you and your significant other’s relationship. Regardless of how intense planning and preparing for the event goes, remind yourself to enjoy it and celebrate it as intended!

What was your biggest splurge?

Our biggest splurge was the all-inclusive wedding company.

What was your favorite detail?

The day-of wedding coordinator and the banquet captain made sure Wyatt and I had everything we needed the whole day. They prepared snacks, set aside appetizer platters, constantly provided water and juice so that we stayed hydrated, and made sure to get our food first and had an ample amount of time to eat during the reception. They also set aside a hefty take home portion for us to eat the next day with a few bottles of wine.

What is the most memorable moment of your day?

We can’t really decide on a specific moment since we both had fun the entire day! Most of our wedding parties knew each other beforehand. The ones that didn’t bonded together on the days leading up to the wedding and our combined bachelor/bachelorette. The whole day felt like all of our friends and family coming together for one happy party, and it was everything we wanted it to be.

A special note from Neil, the photographer:

From the intricate floral arrangements to the dreamy decor, every detail of Alexa and Wyatt’s special day was carefully planned and executed to create a whimsical and romantic atmosphere. The bride’s breathtaking gown and the groom’s dashing suit perfectly complemented each other, and their love shone through in every photo I took.

As I look back on their wedding album, I am reminded of the love that brought these two together and the magical day they shared with their family and friends. I am honored to have been a part of their journey and hope that their story inspires other couples to believe in the power of true love.
