The most memorable moment of our day was exchanging our hand-written, personal vows as the sun rose.
What was the biggest thing you did to save money?
Choosing a state park as the ceremony location and making it an intimate ‘just us’ experience was the biggest thing we did to save money!
What was your biggest splurge?
Our biggest splurge was definitely photography, but it was worth it.
What was your favorite detail?
Our favorite detail was having the ability to have our wedding day completely to ourselves. We also did what we loved at our ceremony location (hiking and exploring) on our wedding day.
What’s the best advice you have for planning your wedding now that you’re on the other side?
Don’t feel obligated to do what others want or tell you that you should do on your wedding day. Make it completely your own!
