How did you meet?

We met on a dating site while Camille was on Erasmus in Poland and I was in Besançon, France.

After several weeks, Camille decided to surprise me and took a 21 hour bus ride to join me in Besançon. It was love at first sight!

Did you do any DIY Projects or create any handmade items for your wedding?

Yes! All of the decor was DIY by the mother of the bride.

What creative or personal aspects did you include in your wedding?

Our first date was to see the minion movie, so we had a minion cake!

What is the most memorable moment of your day?

The “first look”. Even though we did not see each other eye to eye, it was so special to get to pray together prior to getting married.

What was the biggest thing you did to save money?

The Bride Planned the Wedding, DIY Decor and we have family and friends that are professions in the industry that supported us throughout the experience

What was your biggest splurge?

The photographer was our biggest splurge. We wanted the best of the best, and knew that D Park would be the perfect fit to help us remember our special day.

What was your favorite detail?

The photo booth. Everyone loved it!

What’s the best advice you have for planning your wedding now that you’re on the other side?

Our best advice would be to get a wedding planner.
