The marriage of Viviana and Eros was a small and intimate magical space in the woods. They wanted to get out of Milan and be able to see the colorful autumn leaves, sharing this moment with very few intimate people. They loved the idea of joining with handfasting, the “Celtic” ritual of joining hands with a ribbon. Enjoy this Romantic Handfasting Ceremony in Italy on a $2500 budget!Xoxo, Jessica

How many guests did you have?
We had 20 guests.
How did you meet?
We were friends before falling in love.
What is your proposal story?
We didn't really have one. We just decided to get married after a long term relationship.
Tell us about your attire choices.
For the bride's dress, I decided to give a new fresh look to an old dress I loved. I adjusted it and it became my wedding dress 🙂 I added a white cape with it.
I decided to have a flower crown as I wanted to be different and more in contact with nature.
My husband just used a suit he already had.
What were your favorite parts of the day?
We love nature, what it transmits with its perfumes, “smells”, colors, atmospheres. We love taking long walks in the woods, whatever weather conditions accompany us; immersed in absolute peace and silence, broken only by never annoying noises, part of this exclusive world.
We never thought we could have our dream of a marriage in the midst of nature; we didn't even know about the possibility of making it, but luckily we found Federica our wedding planner, and she thought of it!
Our favorite part of our wedding is the contact we had with nature.
We loved our unique ceremony, our handfasting was so lovely, emotional and completely ours.
The location (chosen by Federica) was spectacular, the altar decorated was fine, delicate and wonderful in its simplicity. I just was amazed by all.
Do you have any advice for couples planning their weddings now?
Just to have the wedding you really want, without constriction by anyone.
If you don't think an idea you have is possible, speak with a wedding planner. Federica realized all we wanted and we just loved everything.
