Model and designer, Sofia Richie, and music executive Elliot Grainge said “I do” on April 22nd on the French Riviera. As many a-listers were on the guest list, people are considering this event the wedding of the year. The two first became a couple back in January of 2021. Grainge proposed to Richie in April of 2022; the rest is history!
The wedding weekend was hosted at an exclusive resort on the water in Antibes, France. Surprise performances by Lionel Richie and Good Charlotte stunned the guests, along with Richie’s choice of three custom Chanel dresses. Another surprise guest for Richie was Stephan Sanchez, singing live “Until I Found You” as her processional song, a gift given to her by her now husband.
About the Couple’s Wedding Style
All three of Richie’s gowns were designed by Chanel. She walked down the aisle in a lace-embroidered halter gown with sequin appliqués. Sentimental details were tied into her dress, including two embroidered hearts with the couple’s initials engraved on the chest of the dress. Her rehearsal dinner dress was a long-sleeve, hand-beaded crepe fringe look featuring a mock neckline and sheer sleeves. For the final dress of the night, she wore a white square-neck mini-dress. Elliot wore a Ralph Lauren suit at the rehearsal dinner and a Tom Ford tuxedo for the wedding day.
