I recently wrote a post about the BSB’s options for wedding flowers. Here’s how I was introduced to silk flowers: My sister (my MOH) had a friend who got married a couple of years ago, and she was in her wedding. She showed me the bouquet she carried…a silk assortment of gerber daisies-beautiful! When I got engaged, I began searching online for similar bouquets, finding nothing I liked. So I had to find out where my sister’s friend bought her wedding flowers.

Enter: Lily of Angeles. Based in Irvine, California, Lily’s business thrives on the referred customer. With her own website, as well as representation on Etsy and eBay, she is in the business of budget savvy flowers. She has TONS and TONS of arrangements to choose from, and you can even custom order! One look at her work, and you can be confident your flowers will turn out beautifully.

I have spoken with Lily multiple times, and the customer service is impeccable. She understands her customers, including crazy brides like me who can’t decide what they want (anybody else relate?). I bought my flowers from her for the grand price of…$150. Yes, brides, it is possible! This doesn’t include ceremony or reception decoration flowers, but come on…that’s a price fit for a BSB.

I am beyond happy with my flowers, and I’m truly thankful I didn’t have to pay an arm and a leg for something beautiful to carry in my wedding.

So, BSBs…what kind of flowers did you decide on using for your wedding: real, real touch, or silk? Were you able to score some great deals? I’d love to hear all about it!
