We don’t often feature styled shoots on this website since they tend to be so luxurious and aspirational. Styled shoots can often be misleading as they are arranged by professionals but are often positioned as a “DIY” look. But when this Valentine’s Wedding Inspiration shoot arrived in my inbox I knew it was perfect for The Budget Savvy Bride!

This vendor team put together an eclectic and sweet inspiration shoot featuring several different handmade and thrifted items that’s perfect for a Valentine’s Themed Wedding. This DIY wedding inspiration is perfect for any couple on a budget with little to no craft skills needed!

Handmade Valentine’s Themed Wedding Decorations

There are so many handmade items in this shoot including centerpiece candle holders. The centerpieces are made from wine bottles that were spray-painted in different colors. Then, candles were inserted into the painted bottles turning them into custom candle holders. To finish the look, the wax of the candles was then melted with a heat gun. It created such a romantic effect, and is something that would be simple to DIY!

The frames were thrift store finds and were painted to match the color scheme. This is yet another simple and inexpensive DIY project that any couple could take on. We love that it’s simple to customize to match any wedding color scheme. The calligraphy sign was created by Michelle Collins of Calligraphy Cult with watercolors and a brush. With a little practice, anyone could create their own wedding signage in this manner, as well! The other items shown in the shoot such as the plates, glasses, and flatware were all thrifting finds!

Get inspiration from the DIY photobooth backdrop featured in this shoot. This type of backdrop could be easily recreated for a Valentine’s Wedding! Just find a cute bedsheet or shower curtain to hang, and grab some Mylar Balloons to create the message of your choice. So cute and budget savvy, too!
