What creative or personal aspects did you include in your wedding?
Brian broke glass as a Jewish tradition.
We did everything in our own order. After the cocktail hour, we did speeches, dinner, first dance, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, and then everyone dancing.
We wrote each other personal vows and read them the morning of the wedding.
The main color was light pink since it’s my favorite color!
What is the most memorable moment of your day?
We loved our first dance. Brian said his was me walking down the aisle but I was so nervous about falling over.
What was the biggest thing you did to save money?
We had our wedding the last weekend of off-season. This saved us over $50 a plate and we didn’t have a venue fee. It was beautiful that day! This is my number one recommendation to save a lot of money.
What was your biggest splurge?
Our videographer was our biggest splurge. We were going back and forth on having one but we are very excited we chose to. Also, a wedding planner is priceless.
What was your favorite details?
The flowers, the color scheme, the wedding party dresses, and suits. I can’t pick, everything was perfect. Our pictures are beautiful.
What’s the best advice you have for planning your wedding now that you’re on the other side?
We were very relaxed about planning and on our wedding day. If something goes “wrong”, no one knows and they will think it’s all how you intended.
Splurge on a wedding planner! You don’t realize how amazing they are until you look back and realize how smoothly everything went.

It was perfect and I miss it everyday. The Antrim was the perfect venue and it worked perfectly being able to stay there with my bridal party the night before and then with Brian that night.
