We did not do any DIY projects for our wedding!

We were able to work with the officiant to create a personalized ceremony.

What is the most memorable moment of your day?

We had quite a few memorable moments. Looking into his eyes during the ceremony and the kiss were two of them. It was wonderful having only the two of us besides the officiant and photographer. Another was trying to beat the rain! It was such a magical day.

What was the biggest thing you did to save money?

Andy wore jeans he had, and then found a jacket and shirt that were great prices.

What was your biggest splurge?

Our biggest splurge was the bride’s dress!

What was your favorite detail?

Our favorite detail was our hats.

What’s the best advice you have for planning your wedding now that you’re on the other side?

Use a wedding planner. Simply Eloped covered all the details, and we just showed up and enjoyed!
