Did you do any DIY Projects or create any handmade items for your wedding?
I bought two flower bouquets from a local market. I then deconstructed them, and made them into one to make my perfect bouquet!
What creative or personal aspects did you include in your wedding?
Just eloping in general! It was the most intimate way to celebrate our day.
What is the most memorable moment of your day?
Besides getting to marry my best friend, I would say just getting married in a national park was very memorable. The views were gorgeous and as we hiked our way through, we had many people stop and congratulate us!
What was the biggest thing you did to save money?
Not having a venue! Getting married in a national park was the smartest thing we did. Not only did we save money, but the views were absolutely stunning.
What was your biggest splurge?
Our biggest splurge was our photographer! Since we eloped in a national park, I knew the pictures were going to be most important. She was worth every single penny and I would do it all over again in a heart beat.
What was your favorite details?
My favorite detail was my flowers.
What’s the best advice you have for planning your wedding now that you’re on the other side?
Do what you want to do for your big day! Everyone’s wedding day will look different, and that’s okay! Stay true to what you want despite what anyone says.
