For all of the upcoming brides-to-be, there is nothing they want more than picture perfect skin on the big day. Obviously, the focus will be on your face, but the rest of your body is important to take care of, too!

We asked Kerry Benjamin, skincare expert and creator of Stacked Skincare, to share her best advice for getting every inch of your skin wedding ready. Check out her Bridal Skincare advice below!

What are the biggest skin concerns that brides are looking to address before the wedding day?

I think puffiness and acne are sometimes the biggest concerns most people talk about. By starting a skincare routine a few months or even just weeks out, you eliminate having an issue surprise you on the big day.

Here are some of the areas that brides are looking to address before the big day:

microneedling tool

Reducing under eye-circles and puffiness:

No one wants puffy skin or circles under the eyes for up-close photos! Try a pro tip from Kerry Benjamin. Take a Q-tip and dip it in the Stacked Skincare TCA Multi Acid Face Peel and gently swipe under the eye to brighten and remove any cakiness.

Follow with applying the HA Hydrating serum and rolling with the Collagen Boosting Microneedling Tool. The Microneedling tool contains .2mm stainless steel needles to gently exfoliate your skin, leaving it smoother, plumper, and firmer.

It’s best to use the Microneedling tool 3-5 times a week for optimal results.  Micro-rolling helps drive your serums deeper to maximize their effectiveness.

With regular use, micro-rolling helps minimize the appearance of fine lines, leaving you with luminous, healthy-looking skin. You can use all 3 of these products together on a weekly basis, and use the serum and roller daily in the month before your wedding to transform your skin.

Creating Smooth, Flawless Skin:

Everyone wants perfect, glowing skin for their big day — #nofilter required! One of the best secrets to flawless skin is dermaplaning.

This technique involves using a fine blade that is used to remove peach fuzz and dead skin cells, exfoliating your skin to make it smoother and brighter. Removing the layer of dead cells on your skin’s surface allows your skincare products to further penetrate your skin, and your makeup will go on flawlessly.

You can get this technique done for you by an aesthetician, or you can do it at home with the Stacked Skincare Dermaplaning Tool!

Kerry recommends dermaplaning the night before your wedding, followed by applying the PSC Peptide Serum with the Collagen Boosting Microneedling tool for a bright, youthful-looking complexion. You can safely dermaplane your face up to once a week, but it depends on your skin and hair growth.

lip peel products

For Plump, Kissable Lips:

You’ll want to give your lips a little extra love leading up to your big day. For a perfect pout, you’ll want to make sure your lips are free of dry, dead skin so your lipstick or gloss goes on flawlessly.

One great way to achieve luscious lips is by using Stacked Skincare Lip Peel. The lip-softening serum dissolves rough, dry skin with edible-grade ingredients like lactic and glycolic acids.

Natural fruit extracts and pure sugar cane moisturize and gently resurface lips, leaving them soft, supple, and silky. For extra plumping and hydration, use your Micro-Roller on your lips and apply your HA Hydrating Serum!

(PS — The active ingredients in the Lip Peel are also natural acne-fighters! Apply to a blemish in a pinch as an effective anti-acne treatment.)

Clearing up Back and Chest Acne:

Especially in warmer climates, as the heat and humidity rise, body acne can rear it’s ugly head. Combat any body blemishes head-on with the Stacked Skincare TCA Multi Acid Body Peel

Start using it a few months out from the big day if possible, using 1-2 times a week over the entire body or just focus on problem areas to reveal glowing skin from head to toe!

How do these tools compare in cost to professional treatments in a salon or spa?

A dermaplaning treatment will cost anywhere from $75 – $200 for an in-spa treatment.  The Stacked Skincare Dermaplaning tool is $75, and the replacement blades are $6 and only need to be replaced monthly.

After the initial cost of the tool, it will cost just $6/month, and you can achieve the same results as an in-spa treatment. (Now that’s #budgetsavvy!)

A professional microneedling treatment will range from $200-$300 in a spa.  The Stacked Skincare Microneedling tool has smaller needles than what is used in a spa and can be used safely 5 times a week.

The Micro-Rollers from Stacked Skincare are $30 (or $27 if you sign up for the auto refill program.) The rollers should be replaced monthly.

So, for $30/month, using this tool 5 times a week and paired with the correct serum for your skin concern, you can get really great results at home. You’ll notice visibly plumper, firmer, brighter, and more even skin tone and texture. (That’s a significant savings over in-spa treatments!!)
