When I think of stickers, I typically think of the flowers and Disney princesses that my piano teacher would put on my music after successfully completing a song. But a Canadian-based company is making it possible for people like you and me to create chic and affordable custom stickers. And their stickers might be just what your wedding needs!

StickerYou is an online platform that lets you upload your own designs, photos or art to create custom stickers, iron-ons and magnets. Here are some ideas about how you can use stickers at your wedding and how easy it is to make your ideas become a reality with StickerYou.

Stickers + Your Wedding

How cute would it be to include a little Save-The-Date sticker with your invitations for your guests to add to their calendars?

You could also create return address labels and seals for your invitations that are a bit more polished than printing off your home printer.

Stickers are an easy way to add pizzaz to your wedding favors. For my wedding, I had custom cookies in clear cellophane bags. Though they were darling, a sticker with my and my husband’s monogram or one of our favorite quotes would have been perfection!

Maybe you’re giving homemade jam or tins filled with chocolate? You could easily design a cute sticker add to simple glass jars or inexpensive tins.

StickerYou also produces temporary tattoos, which could be a fun and unusual favor to commemorate your wedding!

You could easily make some stickers to customize your budget-savvy wine. (You may remember BSB founder Jessica created custom wine labels for her own wedding!) You could have the table numbers on your wine bottles and use them as table markers during the reception.

If you plan on having bottled water at your reception, why not create a pretty a pretty label to make them beautiful?

Depending on your venue, you could create a wall decal to display your monogram or a favorite quote to set the tone for your reception.

You could also create vinyl stickers with your initials to large pillar candles to use during the ceremony or reception.

If your wedding is outdoors and you plan on having fans for your guests to use, you could create large stickers to add to the fans.

Odds & Ends

With StickerYou, you can also create an iron-on transfer for robes or t-shirts for you and your bridesmaids to wear while getting ready.

After your wedding, you could print magnets of your wedding photos to display on your fridge.

Making Stickers with StickerYou

But how can you use stickers at your wedding and avoid it looking like your 3rd-grade attendance chart?

If you don’t have a design experience like me, no worries. StickerYou has tons of templates and customizable designs, that include ideas from past brides! And if you want your label to have a unique shape, StickerYou makes that possible through their online design system.

Customers have the choice between white vinyl material or clear vinyl material. StickerYou typically recommends white vinyl for bright colors or busy designs, and the clear labels also look beautiful if going for a more simplistic or modern design.

StickerYou doesn’t require a minimum order. Labels arrive on 8.5×11” pages, and depending on how large/small your labels are, you may be able to fit as many as 100 labels on a page. Stickers are delivered bubble-free and have a strong but removable adhesive. And if you’re mistake prone like me, the labels can be peeled up and replaced– the labels can be removed with no adhesive left behind. The material is waterproof, dishwasher safe, microwave safe, heat resistant, fade resistant and will stand up to mild abrasion — so you don’t have to worry about them getting ruined!

Stickers are a fun and creative way to add some customized details to your wedding, especially if you’re on a budget. Stickers make DIY projects affordable and simple. And StickerYou makes it easy to make professional-quality stickers become a reality, even for the design novice like me!
