Last year was a great year for music, and introduced some new romantic tunes into my list of modern music to use for a wedding first dance. Of course, there's always the classics like Frank Sinatra and Etta James, but we wanted to share some more current stuff for those of you who want a more modern vibe for your big day.


The songs I've chosen are all from within the last decade, a few of them are even from the last year or so! Shocker of all shockers, I actually found a truly romantic love song from none other than Miley Cyrus that I almost refused to include… but the sweetness really got to me, what can I say??

I had fun going through my iTunes and Spotify libraries and history from the last year to pick out songs that I personally love, so you may have never heard some of these before! I can't wait to hear what you think of the picks.
