One of my favorite tips for saving money on your wedding is to nix the open bar and opt to serve wine, beer, and a signature cocktail (or two) instead!

Signature cocktails also add a dose of personalization to your wedding, because both you and your fiancé can choose your favorite drinks to be served and shared with all of your guests. Plus, who doesn’t like trying a new, tasty cocktail?

I’ve been having a little fun at home mixing up some tasty and simple drink recipes and I decided it would be fun to start sharing some of them with all of you! I’ll be sharing these yummy signature cocktail recipe ideas here on the blog as a series I’m dubbing “Savvy Signature Sips.” So fun, right?

First in my Savvy Signature Sips series is a cocktail that features a new flavor of Skinnygirl® Vodka: Tangerine! The folks at Skinnygirl® sent me a bottle to try out, and I was super excited to make a yummy cocktail recipe with it. I felt seriously refreshed sipping on this simple concoction: a tangerine vodka spritzer!

The Perfect Low-Calorie Cocktail for a Wedding

Skinnygirl® vodka contains natural flavors that allow you to up your cocktail game without upping the calories.

I kept this cocktail extra skinny and super refreshing by mixing Skinnygirl® vodka with soda water and a splash of OJ. It doesn’t get much simpler than that!

This signature cocktail idea is seriously refreshing, and just sweet enough. Throw in some fresh-sliced citrus to make this signature cocktail extra festive! This is one low-calorie, amazingly refreshing vodka cocktail with super yummy natural flavors.

Tangerine Vodka Spritzer with Skinnygirl Vodka

Ingredients for this Cocktail Recipe

• 1 part Skinnygirl® Tangerine Vodka
• 2 parts soda water
• A splash of Orange Juice
• add a slice of orange for garnish

How to Make a Skinny Tangerine Vodka Spritzer

Just add 1 shot of Vodka to a glass of Seltzer or Soda Water. Top with a splash of Orange Juice and garnish with an orange slice for a dose of color and flair!

This affordable signature cocktail idea is great for a summer wedding because it’s essentially watered down with seltzer. Not only does it make the drink more refreshing, but it also means you won’t be pouring heavy amounts of liquor in each drink.
