Flower Alternatives: Paper Flowers

This post is part of our wedding flower alternatives series. We all know that fresh florals are absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately, they can also be quite expensive! This is especially true if you swoon over blooms that are out of season during the month of your wedding. If you still want the look of fresh flowers without the price tag, you can always go an alternate route. Although the effect of beautiful fresh flowers is breathtaking, there are fabulous and budget-savvy alternatives to help you save some of your valuable budget bucks. First up: paper flowers!
The great thing about paper flowers is that you can use them for your bridal flowers or for decor! Use paper flowers in centerpieces or garlands… they can bring a really lovely handmade aspect to your special day. Even better is that there are so many different types of paper to use to create paper flowers. From lightweight crepe and tissue paper to newsprint or cardstock– the options for creativity and customization are endless!
